Dnipropetrovs’k, Ukraine. International holding Centravis announced a rename of Nikopol stainless tube mill.

The 16th of October 2007, a joint-stock company Nikopol stainless tube mill (NSTM) was renamed to a joint-stock company Centravis Production Ukraine (CPU). The decision was made by the company’s shareholders during the meeting. Mr. Vitaliy Lyutik, who had been fulfilling the duties of NSTM general director heretofore, was appointed the general director of Centravis Production Ukraine.

Centravis Production Ukraine is only one in Ukraine and one of the largest world enterprises specializing in seamless stainless tube and pipe production. The company’s product portfolio includes more than 1000 standard size tubes produced of more than 100 corrosion and heat resistant steel grades in 7 segments as follows: general pipes, boiler tubes, heat-exchanger tubing, instrumental tubing, furnace tubes, hollow bars and Ni-alloy tubes. The company’s products are used in chemical and petrochemical industries, nuclear and thermal power engineering, non-ferrous metallurgy, machine and shipbuilding, food and other industries.

Centravis production quality management system is certified according to the international certification EN ISO 9001:2000, and the tubes are produced according to US ASTM standard, German EN DIN, French EN NF, Italian EN UNI and Eastern GOST and TU standards.
