An International holding CENTRAVIS signed the Memorandum, offered by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to meet the aftermaths, called forth by decrease of consumption of metal products and a global financial crisis. The document presupposes to support the enterprises of mining and smelting complex in the period of the crisis and also their obligations concerning respect of rights of the staff of the companies. Yuriy Atanasov, CEO of International Holding CENTRAVIS: “It is positive that the Government has promptly responded to the global situation in the steel industry, which affected Ukraine as well. The memorandum is the first step toward stabilizing the situation in the industry, which is strategic in the country’s economy. We, as well as the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, are interested in reducing costs, including the prime cost of products. But to realize these intentions, we needed support”.
