CENTRAVIS Company, the leading Ukrainian manufacturer of seamless stainless steel tubes & pipes, celebrated 20 years of its successful activity.

The company was founded on March 27, 1991 in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. Its original name - Commercial Industrial Enterprise "UVIS". The founders of the business were Vasiliy Atanasov with many years experience in tube & pipe production, and his sons - Sergey and Yuriy.

By transition from state-planned to market economy, the new company found its own unique niche, got production up and running and built efficient marketing for complex products. In 2000 the company was successfully involved in the restructuring project of OJSC “Nikopol Pivdennotrubny plant” (OJSC "NPP”). "UVIS" became a key investor of CJSC ”Nikopol Stainless Tube Mill "(CJSC “NSTM”), based on hot extrusion shop No. 4 and cold rolling shop No. 2 of the former OJSC "NPP”.

Thanks to efficient business arrangement the new company rapidly increased its market size and production volumes, started comprehensive modernization.

In 2007 under realization of the final stage of investment program and rebranding CENTRAVIS Holding was created.

Today CENTRAVIS is a company with manufacturing facilities in Nikopol, a leading player in the seamless stainless steel tube & pipe market in Ukraine, one of the most recognized global manufacturers of these products. The company has sales offices in the Russian Federation, the United States and Europe. Shareholders of CENTRAVIS Holding - Vasiliy Atanasov (Board Member of CENTRAVIS Holding), Sergey Atanasov (Board Member of CENTRAVIS Holding), Yuriy Atanasov (CEO, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CENTRAVIS Holding, CEO of CJSC “CENTRAVIS PRODUCTION UKRAINE "), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

So far CENTRAVIS practically implemented a large-scale program of production modernization and expanded its geographical presence, enabling the company to increase production volumes in the post-crisis period. Having found its unique niche among the leaders of Western market and new ambitious players in the East, CENTRAVIS is aiming to sustain best possible cost-utility proposition in value-added product segments.

Just before the 20th anniversary of the Company Yuriy Atanasov mentioned:
