General tube

Distinguishing feature of general tube & pipes is the absence of specific requirements. In spite of this application of general tubes & pipes is wide, there are chemical industry, pipelines and constructions for variuos services; substantially general tubes and pipes are present in processing industry.

In subsea media general tubes & pipes can be used as line pipes, flowlines, risers (new bi-metallic), hydraulic & gas injection lines, etc. In topside media general tubes & pipes can be used as utility and process piping, sea water piping systems, LNG piping

Often general tubes & pipes used as fertilizer tubing in form of stripper tubing for urea plants, carbamate condenser tubes, piping, bi-metallic stripper tubing in Zirconimum.

Depending on production method general tubes & pipes can be hot — and cold-finished. Usually the following steel grades are used for the production of general tube and pipes: 08X18Н10Т, 12X18Н10Т, TP 304L, 316L, 2205, 2507, 1.4541. In accordance with customer requirements general tubes & pipes can be of fixed or random length.

Usual diameter for general tube & pipes is from 21.3 to 219.1 mm.
