Career
From 1972 until 1989 he held various financial positions with multinational companies in Switzerland, USA, Austria and UK.
From 1989 until 1994 he was CEO of the watch brand Swatch and a member of the management board of the parent company
(The Swatch Group Ltd.)
From 1994 until 1999 he was one of the 3 founders and managing directors of the car brand Smart.
Starting 2000 until 2016 he was engaged in various international companies in Switzerland as Chairman and/or member of the Board of Directors; in addition of being the CEO of an industrial company in the precious metal industry (2000-2004).
Since 2011 he is a guest lecturer at the Namibia University of Science and Technology in Windhoek, Namibia.
