The social project “One student – one PC” was initiated in framework of the Agreement on Social Partnership between CENTRAVIS and Education & Science Department of Dnepropetrovsk Regional State Administration on October 8th, 2013. The Project was presented in school No. 20, in the town of Nikopol. Twenty-five first-graders and their teachers were provided with a custom made net-books.
Thus, CENTRAVIS has fully equipped the class with net-books, wireless internet zone and a beamer.
In addition, 10 children with special educational needs studying at home and their teachers received a gift from the company: laptops and free Internet access. This activity has been realized since August 2012 in the framework of “E-school” Project together with Education & Science Department of Dnepropetrovsk Regional State Administration ensuring methodological base and online resource for distance learning.
These projects are not the first experience of the Company’s charitable activity as part of corporate social responsibility.
From the first days CENTRAVIS has been successfully implementing Social Investment Program aimed at development of economic and cultural potential of Nikopol and Dnepropetrovsk region. CENTRAVIS finances social programs in four key areas: contemporary education of young people, support of socially vulnerable groups, particularly, orphaned children and children with special needs, development of medicine and health and corporate volunteer services.
